Donna has always been a
voracious reader, with romance dominating her time ever
since she picked up a Julie Garwood historical in 2001.
From then on she read every romance she could get her
hands on until her background in Art History and
painting led to a discovery of her own abilities to
create romantic tales. Her artistic training at Florida
State University only served to enhance her ability to
envision romantic visions of Regency England and
strengthened her great passion for the medieval period.
Inspiration and an ongoing joy in reading motivated her
to branch out to romantic suspense as a new outlet for
her writing. She believes that the sky is the limit for
writers and she heartily agrees that attempting new
sub-genres not only broadens a writer’s reader base but
introduces the author to new possibilities.
Donna blissfully resides in sunny Florida with the love
of her life, a husband of twenty-nine years, a daughter,
her married son now moved to Houston, and a massive
German Shepherd named Force. Having recently left a ten
year medical career with the Mayo Clinic, she happily
pens her imaginary worlds at the keyboard in her private
writing room for she is truly happiest when writing
passionate stories featuring beautiful characters,
steamy sex scenes, and inevitably happy endings.
